 | Below a route suggestion high up to the Falkertsee resort
The Falkertstrasse, which is eight kilometers long, is registered as Nock-Bike-Route. Having surmounted the difference in altitude of 850 meters (from 1,023m to 1,872m) you have the choice of various down-hill routes other than the road itself.
In this case you have to stop at some gates:
1. Turn left into the Kärntnerhaus when coming from the lake and follow the wide marked hike path passing the Toni-hut. Then don’t go up to the Schweinbichel but choose the forest path down, leading to the Falkertstrasse at a small bridge.

2. Follow the well-marked hike trail passing Goggauwirt hut, Kapling and Ochsenalm pastures. Shortly afterwards the trail becomes a path on which you continue. You arrive at the Nockalm road at the first bend above the toll station. Continue until you come to the main road. From the village Ebene Reichenau in the valley back to Patergassen.
