Bathing lakes in Carinthia

Although the resort’s name carries "lake“ in it, we wouldn’t recommend a splash unless after a sauna visit. Even in summer lake Falkertsee, at an altitude of 1,850 m, doesn’t warm up to temperatures beyond 12 degrees Celsius.

 

However, there's nothing to keep you from unhindered bathing pleasures, with a number of Carinthian lakes, such as Millstätter See, Ossiacher See, Faaker See and Wörthersee right below you, literally speaking: by car within 30 - 60 minutes.
